What I Munch On
Neem leaves as a natural anti bacterial agent. A great stomach pacifier. This is a marvellous herb and has been around for a few thousand years. It is very effective when chewed to clear up gum infections. Also use small soft twigs to brush teeth. I use neem for many things. Mozzie bites, stings, cuts abrasions etc. Anything really. Very bitter to the taste but not unpleasant. Used in cooking in India to add bitterness to a dish and also neem tea is made.
Curry Leaf Tree. I find it marvellous for clearing stomach upsets. I eat three leaves which have a wonderful affect in settling the stomach.
Manuka Honey. Wonderful healing honey with great effect on wounds. Marvelous for relieving sore throats and has a beneficial action on stomach ulcers.
For any suspect bacterial wounds etc i use australian Tea Tree Oil. Nothing like it.

My beautiful Sri Lankan partner has a market stall in the grand old heritage city of Maryborough, South East Queensland, Australia. It is a plant stall where she sells collectable and landscaping bromeliads. She also has a small selection of non-sprayed tropical fruits and natural neem products. These markets are held on a Thursday in two of the main streets of this beautiful heritage city.
My partner had gone to do some shopping and i was looking after her stall. One of our regular customers came for a chat and to buy a couple of plants. We discussed the plants and the conversation turned to my healing skin cancer and then on to other herbal cures.
She told me that an old bush farmer told her of his cure for itchy hemorrhoids which she used successfully on a hemorrhoid that she had. What is it? Wee, that’s right, urine. She told me that during her daily shower she would wee and catch it in her hand and wipe it on her hemorrhoid. After a couple of weeks the hemorrhoid had stopped being itchy and painful and it disappeared completely in 6 weeks.
A bit yucky but has anybody heard of this?
